Bushfire Season and how it can affect you

Many of us enjoy living within a few kilometres of bushland in areas that have a bushfire history.

A large number of our homes have trees and shrubs growing within 20m of them and have been built on slopes.

These are all reasons to prepare for bushfires.

Well prepared properties have much better chances of surviving a bushfire.

Some ways to prepare your property are:

• Clear space around buildings.

• Clear access for fire trucks.

• Remove cut/fallen branches and trees from your property to reduce fuel.

• Clear and remove undergrowth.

How can Tree Work help you prepare for Bushfires?

• Slash blocks, paddocks, firebreaks

• Grind stumps (all sizes) for easier mowing, vehicle access, slashing,
clearing

• Remove branches from trees and shrubs

• Remove trees/palms

• Clean palms

• Clear and remove undergrowth

• Chip green waste using Vermeer Wood Chipper

• Remove green waste
